Superpails: lagtimes & prices
 

Going to place an order for a couple of Superpails of grains, and I'd like some feedback from anyone that knows.

I called Beprepared.com today and they said their shipping is currently 2-3 weeks out. This is significantly faster than the 2 other places I've been looking at so far. Both Waltonfeeds.com and Survivalacres.com are about 12 weeks out on shipping.

The kicker is, all 3 of these sites are selling superpails from Rainy Day Foods. I don't get how 1 site can ship the same product 5x faster than the other two.

Can anyone vouch for Beprepared.com, and/or explain how they can do this? I want to make sure their ship times are correct, because their prices are significantly higher than the other two sites for the same product. I'm willing to pay more to have it get here faster, but only if it's really going to get here faster!

Or, if you know another site with superpails at good prices that doesn't have a several month lagtime, please let me know.

Be aware that shipping prices vary significantly between various sellers. Emergency Essentials (BePrepared.com) has higher prices, but also only charges a flat $12 shipping fee per order, even if you order 10 tons of food! (Be aware that orders that include Superpails have a 200 lb. minimum total order weight.)

In contrast, places like Internet Grocer (http://www.internet-grocer.net/store...duct_list&c=77) have lower prices on their Superpails, but then charge actual UPS Ground costs for shipping (which tends to be about 50% of the cost of the food ordered!).

Note that Emergency Essentials has a relatively small selection of Superpails, while Internet Grocer has a much wider variety. Stay away from stuff with MSG or hydrolyzed/autolyzed soy/yeast/vegetable proteins... that stuff is poison... (Ingredients and nutrition info for Superpails can be found here: http://www.internet-grocer.net/ingred1.htm and here: http://www.internet-grocer.net/nutrfact.htm -- this info is likely to apply to Superpails regardless of where you purchase them.)

Beprepared=quality and good customer service. Ordered 1000's worth from them, no problems.

May also check out honeyville grains as well.
